Announcement:

Radiation Physics and Engineering (RPE) is pleased to announce a dedicated Special Issue in collaboration with the Sixth International Scientific Conference of Alkafeel University (iscku2025), held from 6-8 January 2025, in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, Iraq. This Special Issue aims to showcase high-quality research and cutting-edge developments presented at the conference, specifically focusing on Medical Physics, Radiation Protection, Radiation Application.

Scope and Objectives:

This Special Issue provides a prestigious platform for the dissemination of advanced research findings discussed during the iscku2025. We invite authors of papers presented at the conference to submit their manuscripts for consideration.

Submission Guidelines & Rigorous Review Process:

To maintain the high academic standards of Radiation Physics and Engineering (RPE) and its indexing in Scopus, all submissions will undergo a thorough single-blind peer-review process.

Ethical Requirements and Originality:

        - Similarity Check: All submitted manuscripts will be subject to a mandatory similarity check using iThenticate software. High levels of plagiarism or excessive similarity to previously published works will result in immediate rejection.

      - Exclusivity & Originality: Authors must guarantee that the submitted manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere. Manuscripts that have already been published in another journal (even if they were previously presented at the same conference) are strictly ineligible for submission to this Special Issue.

      - Expansion of Work: Submissions can ideally represent an enhanced or extended version of the conference presentation, incorporating deeper analysis or additional data.

How to Submit: Please submit your manuscript through our online portal (See guideline document). You must select “Special issue: Selected papers from ISCKU2025" from the “Article Type” menu to ensure your paper is routed to the correct editorial team.
